I am a Sr. Data Scientist at McGraw Hill Education. I am part of the Applied AI team, where we leverage data and generative AI solutions to improve teacher experience and student learning and engagement across our slew of educational products.

I have a Ph.D. in Teaching, Learning, and Teacher Education from the University of Pennsylvania and am an alumnus of the Penn Center for Learning Analytics (PCLA), where I researched the replicability of findings on learner success in MOOCs across cultures and national borders.

I was Co-Director of the MOOC Replication Framework (MORF) project, a platform that offers users the ability to replicate previously published studies through its implementation of Open Science practices.

My research interests include machine learning, generative AI, learning analytics, replication, and affective computing.
